How to get off paint?

So I don't know how or where but when I got home I noticed white paint dots all over the driver side and rear of the car. I am pretty sure a cleaning and buffing will get it off the body but under the wheel well is almost all white. Any suggestions on how to clean it?

That sucks. I've had that happen before. It was almost like someone was painting on a windy day, and the wind blew some of the paint onto my car. I used some kind of bug/tar remover that my father had, and also a clay bar. Between those and time, it's all gone now. Just how much is in the wheel well? Pics?

Clay bar should get it off your paint safely.

This is a shot of the wheel well and the lower portion of the side skirt.

Hmmm, well that's not quite what I was expecting. Around my hometown, there's a lot of white clay dirt. When it gets a little wet, that's what it looks like. Are you sure it's paint?

Yeah definitely paint. I already washed the car twice with no results. Took some thinner to an underbody part and it came right off. I obviously don't want to use it on body panels.

Well that sucks. For the body panels, I'd still say try using a clay bar.

If you ran over some fresh stripes on the road, that stuff may not be removed easily from the wheelwell. I think cleaning it real good and painting it with your choice of black paint that matches the other wheelwell would be an option. These other suggestions on the exterior sound like they are worth a try. Use solvents with caution so you don't create a bigger problem and have to repaint the body panels.
