First detail of my 2012 PP Mustang!

This is the first detail of my new 2012 Mustang in performance white. After a Dawn foam dwell and 2 bucket wash. I applied Carpro Iron X to all painted surfaces. The Iron X does a great job of course and I was surprised to see this much embedded crap come out of the paint. I then clayed the whole car with Griot's clay and ONR as my lube.

I then applied Duragloss 501 with a white pad to give a car a light cleanup and seal. After an hour of letting the 501 cure I applied a coat of Blackfire Crystal Seal to the paint and the lower rocker plastics. I was impressed with both the 501 and the CS as they left the paint super glossy and totally slick to the touch.

I applied 501 to the wheels also to protect them and to minimize brake dust build-up. Then I hit the tires with one coat of Blackfire Total Eclipse Gel which by the way is really great stuff.

I think she looks awesome and snapped a few pics:

Nice! I need to grab me a bottle of iron x and i need a polisher. Clay bar just isnt pulling everything out and the little specks annoy the hell outta me! Plus theres some overspray of white paint on my window and right front rim which is really frustrating. Very nice work man! Btw welcome the the cleanest club out there, if you aint white you aint right!

Yeah, I knew the day I bought it that I would need iron x for its first detail. It alone made a big difference and my clay stayed cleaner afterwards.
