I spent hours cleaning my new 2011 GT Premium Saturday only to discover filmy streaks from one end to the other. Sunday morning I went to my local auto parts and bought some Armorall Wash and Wax and a new shammy and washed it again and it still had the filmy steaks all over it!

Need some good product recommendation from sponges to waxes.

Those streaks have a lot to do with the temperature, when applied and what you used.

My guess is that you used a liquid wax? A spray wax will streak but wash off. Cold weather sucks for waxing.
