well i have had my v6 since february and i love it, but the round emblem gas cap thing on the back is one of the nice little things that add to the look of the car for me, but when i was washing the car this morning i noticed orange little spots on it, it looked almost like rust, it wouldnt come off with the soap or anything, so i started to get puzzled on this, i found that waxing it got most like 80-90% off, but has anyone else had a problem with thiers?

Do I have to do it?

Anyways I havn't noticed anything like that. But it also may be due to the fact that the average time between washes is about 2 days.

(But I have noticed my arms getting bigger though)
Wax on, Wax off.

How new is the car? It could be rail dust. (or just road contamination) Try a clay bar.

David,
from your description, almost like rust, i think somehow you may have gotten some of the stuff that is on a lot of wheels. it's like an orange coating of sorts.
goo gone works great in taking it off the wheels. i was stuck with that on my bullits from ford before i thought to try goo gone as ppl said to.
it did the trick. i'd say try goo gone.
if that doesn't work, then using a clay bar should do the trick.
btw, i love the running pony emblem on the trunk. i want one for my GT.
hope you solve your problem.
