will two coats of quick and slick be better than one? With a few days inbetween coats

Glenn, it can't hurt to add a second coat just to make sure you didn't miss any spots but anything over that would be overkill just like using a paste or liquid sealant.

I personally use the Wash & Wax to clean the car so it constantly is protected. Experiment and find out what you like. There are SO many ways to use CroftGateUSA.

glenn, just remember , LESS is more , when you apply it do NOT over use it.. It only needs a little (1-2) sprays at best for most vehicle per panel.....

This stuff would not work here we have so much sand in our dirt. You must have a lot of clay.

There is a TON of sand in the the stuff they throw down on the roads here in the winter and I haven't had any problems. If you do have a concern with that just put an ounce of wash and wax to a gallon of water in a chemical sprayer (you know, the one's you can get at Home Depot or Lowe's) and blast it off first. I've done that a couple times and it works just fine.

Theres just sp many ways tp clean your car usin croftgate. Your car could be covered in fine glass, salt, and sand and if you use the stuff right (chemical sprayer, plenty of product, careful usage) yiu can have a sparkling car with not a swirl in sight

If I don't rinse the car off first I think I would use to many micro fiber towels that I will need to wash. I would probably use 2 to 3 times more towels. Its worth it to me to rinse it off first.

It can never hurt to blast it off. I'm just SUPER **** so I do. And using a chemical sprayer you'll only use a gallon of water so it's not like you're using your hose. That or just stop by a coin-op before you're gonna wash it and use the "final rinse" setting.

As for microfiber towels, Target used to carry some nice ones but I haven't seen them in the stores lately so I get mine from Frankie. They're yellow and very soft and absorbent. Shoot him an email and see if he can get you some too.

I bought the croftgate value pack, and the stuff is pretty good.

One issue I have however is that the quick n slick does not bead water nearly as well as meguiars tech wax.

I bought the sample pack because of this thread, and "washed"(?) my whole car with it. I will out and out say that the shine was much better than I had expected. That being said after I put quick-n-slick on the car it left an almost greasy residue no matter how much I buffed with a microfiber towel. I may have used too much product, but I'm not sure. How many washes are you supposed to get out of the big bottles? I got one out of my sample pack with a ton of tire shine and multi-clean left over.

Idk what hppned with the Q-n-S but it should leave a silky smooth finish on your car. And with my 32 oz. Aquanil-X ive gotten 5 washes so far and still have a decent amount left and i spray my panels liberally so im definitely not stretchin it out. Tire shine and multi clean, along with q-n-s should last you quite a long time
