Anyone know how much is a good price for getting my back truck deck lid painted, front bumber, the little strip that is above the front windshield, and the whole top to the middle of my door, the color is white. My god father owns a big auto body shop and has respect from most who come to him, he is chargin me $450 is he really cutting me a brake its going to be done tomorrow? I believe he is detaling it how good unknown.(buffing, and cleaning my inside). Is this a excellent price as my father and he claims or a fair one.

 

I'm paying close to $1500 just to have the front bumper, side skirts, rear valance and louvers painted to a show room finish. I think you are getting a great deal as long as the quality of work is really good.

 

that seems like a reasonable price as long as the paint matches and good quality prep work was done

 

Just got my final price $2,000 CA to have the street scene kit and MRT louvers painted. They used an epoxy first, then primer and paint. Mind you I did get a show room finish. Another shop would have painted the same parts for $600.00 but no guarantee that the paint would not chip and most likely would have been flawed. I am really happy with the work that was done on my car.

 

I paid $600 to have the center of the hood painted a matte black. Local guy who does good work - took the hood off, and the color/finish came out as requested.
