I just purchased Mequiers Clay and just wanted to know how long it should take to clay my '07 CS? Also can you clay over the GT/CS stripe that runs down the lenght of the door or do you avoid the stripes? As a first time is there anything I should know or do prior to claying the car.

Make sure the car is wahsed and take your time, don't be afraid of getting it really wet and work in one are. here in the desert it dries very quickly so constant lubrication is a must. I wound't worry about the stripe. but it wont hurt it. Clay is awesome. twice a year here.

 

Twice a year here also. Once when I take it out of storage and once when I put er away. Take as much time as you need and use the spray lube.
