I had a small scratch removed by a body shop that created it (long annoying story) and there seems to be a bit of clear overspray or a rough feel near the fix. How effective is clay bar and the moving clear overspray?

I bought one $25 plus detailer spray $8. Slightly dearer than a clay bar but apparently it will do up to 12 or so cars! Works extremely well - did the Veloster and the Stang and it's much quicker. Highly recommended!
