assuming your car is detailed before you get there, I like to carry a quick detailer, some clean micro fibers and some cloth rags/towels for things like wheels or anything that isnt paint and will get the rags dirty, a duster, some wheel cleaner and tire dressing just in case, interior quick detailer, and some of this stuff....

its like magic on making everything thats black and plastic look like its brand new and dripping wet, yet isnt, works fast and overspray easily wipes off since it is waterbased, make your engine look like its never been used with this stuff, awesome product a must in my book for car shows,

of course those I would say are just the basics and you can get all of those in small enough bottles to keep in a small bag or organizer in your trunk, but since I detail cars I have a little of everything just in case....lol

here is a nice tip, since carrying all of those full size bottles can be a PIA and make your trunk look like crap at a show (open your car completely up and show off everything, people like to see that you have nothing to hide and everything to show off even if you dont have anything going on in the trunk, a clean one with the subs or cool trunk liner will get peoples attention, they go to cars with opened stuff because they think there is something to see and will remember your car, especially if its judged and not peoples choice) but back on topic, get small bottles to pour some of your cleaning products into to take with instead of the large bottles, either small 4oz misters (great for quick detailer) or 16oz bottles with sprayers on them like these below

Great suggestions above, I use a plastic toolbox to carry my detail kit with me to car shows, I have compartments for Q-tips, toothpicks, brushes etc also.
