Armor All Extreme Wheel and Tire Cleaner safe for Painted Alum Wheels?

Hello,

My 2013 has the 19" Premium Painted Aluminum Wheels and I would like to check if anyone has any experience with using Armor All Extreme Wheel and Tire Cleaner on painted aluminum wheels.

Is it safe to use and will it harm the clear-coat?

Would I be better off using P21s?

Thanks!

In my personal opipnion there is no no wheel cleaner better than P21S, period, not that something else will clean as good or leave a look as good, but for residual left, dirt removed it is P21S - period. I have it in 5 gallon buckets at the shop and use it exclusively.

I wouldn't even use anything specifically for cleaning a wheel; the car shampoo I use is plenty enough to clean thin brake dust since I don't let any of my cars to go to a stage where cleaning brake dust requires a harsher cleaner.

I agree. If you put a coat of wax on them you don't need anything aggressive to keep them clean.

I used it this past weekend. I sprayed it on, but had to go back and wipe the rims down later. They looked fine once wiped.
