Me Too!!! 44 here!
But regarding the subject at hand...
I bought a "Microfiber glass cleaning kit" from a local closeout store, I paid $15.00 for it. the kit included seveal bonnets and a triangular shaped head to put them on with an extension wand. It works really well and reaches the corners of the back window relatively easily. I do remember an infomercial on TV about this a while ago.
Hope this helps

My girlfriend's 10 year old niece sat in the back on a trip. That night I noticed the hand prints ALL OVER the window where she reached over her head.
The good news: 10 year old, 4' 10" nieces have NO problem cleaning their hand prints off the rear window.

I was about to kill my brother's son last time he was in the car. He is one of those kids that just HAS to touch everything. I swear I sounded like a broken record telling him to NOT touch the back window.

Make a bet with your wife/girlfriend (rig it so that you win). When she looses, she has to wear a mini skirt and clean the back window. Bring the camera. Who knows, you might just find something else to do for the rest of the morning, afternoon, or evening.

However, for owners of an '05 Mustang, the simple act of getting behind the wheel is akin to discovering the fabled "Fountain of Youth."
Oh, and by the way, the best way to clean the rear window is to pay someone else to do it.
