Did it really need the clay, did you notice any difference being the car is new? Looks great!

Clay bar is always necessary is you want the purest bond between your waxes/sealants and your paint. Clay bar pulls out all those little particles that we sometimes cant even feel or see, and does a much better job for laying the groundwork for polishing since there are no contaminants in the paint.
Just leaves the paint smoother and allows waxes and sealants to bon better to the paint which results in a better looking, smoother, longer lasting surface

I'm a HUGE fan of it! I used to have a torch red '03 Mach 1, & Natty's Red really made it pop. I had a feeling it would on race red too, & I wasn't disappointed. Plus, it's the most ridiculously easy wax to apply/remove I've ever used.
BTW, I detailed (clay, swirl removal, polish, glaze, sealant) my black '09 today, & I'm going to wax it tomorrow. I usually use Natty's Blue paste on it, but I'm trying something new tomorrow. I bought a 3 oz jar of Wolfgang Fuzion that I'm going to try on it. The guys at Autogeek recommended it, so I figured I'd see how I like it. Pics coming tomorrow.

I always clay when I do a full detail. Plus, the dealer had a local Ziebart put their "Gold Shield" paint treatment on it. I wanted to remove it & put my own products on the car.
