The main reason for ordering it from Canada was really that I've a contact in sweden which has bought many cars from Canada and did recommed them. The only difference I know of is that canadian cars have a rear seat split of 60/40 and american cars split 50/50  Haven't got a clue why it is a difference. (CA, cars also has some emission difference)
I've ordered my car from Carson Exports.

The going rates now at importers seem to be around 350,000 to 390,000 for a GT depending on equipment. That's ~ $ 51,000 - 57,000. Agh.

Still, considering the competition it's not that expensive, you'll have to pony up a lot more to get a car with similar performance. On the + side, I've seen a Ford dealer offering full insurance for only $28/month!!

hmmmm....dosent feel right that they charge that much in sweden.......cheaper to import it urself.....messier but cheaper, since you only would have to pay 10% car value in import tax, and few thousand in additional costs, registration and such....and finally 25% VAT

Now add that up and there's no way in helsinki that it'll end up at 400k's(SEK)

True, private import would run at about 280-300K which is about half the markup compared to dealers' prices. This is probably what I'll opt for but then again I won't get any benefits at all such as free service or guarantees...

If it helps, you can now get a fully (duty and tax) paid up GT for £24k here from resellers. If you bring it in yourself, about £22k. It seems like the dealers are lowering their markups
