Is your Dream Car a Mustang?
Okay, here's a question I've been wanting to ask a group of Mustangers. If you you had "too much" money (okay, at least a few million of disposable cash), would your dream car still be your/a Mustang? If so, which one? If not, what car?
We all know the Mustang is one of those few cars out there, anywhere, that's a budget-based car that still evokes serious interest from all segments of enthusiasts. It just has that feel and nostalgia that so many folks like. I'm a freak purist sports car/racing guy, and I still find a Mustang, when trimmed and tuned just right, is just awesome. If I had too much money (I don't and won't), a 1965 Shelby (street version, not Comp) and 2013 BOSS 302R would be on my very short list of cars. I also would ad my pending 2014 GT Track Pack/Recaro order. Just something about it I think is so cool on so many levels. Would I buy a Porsche GT3 RS and a Ferrari 458 Italia, hell yeah, but they'd be parked next to my $35K Mustang too!
What about you?

Will always be a mustang. I have owned many thru out the years. I have my dream car now. Granted it is still a hunk of junk. But the more hours I spend on it the more I love it. I like the 5.4 Shelby's, but the 4.6 Cobra holds a special place in my heart. When the Terminator came out. That is all I eat and slept.

If you've got that much money there's no reason to not have a mustang unless you do not like the car which should be non of us here. The price tag would be chump change to the money your speaking of. I'd have a collection of gt500s throughout the years

Good Question For Me
I have spent way too much money on S197 Mustangs.
I like them very much.
I could buy almost anything I want (and have)
When all was said and done...
I still have the 2006 S197 that I special ordered back in 2006.
I do love it. It is the car I dreamed of when I was young (long, long ago).
So you can say it is my dream car.
Although...
If I had my own private track with no cops to worry about...
Well, you get the idea

That's a hard question to answer. I'd have to drive all the cars on my list to really nail it down. But I'll give a few. 2013 GT500, restomoded 1969 dodge charger, maybe a cuda or a challenger. I, as most do, also adore exotics like Lamborghinis and Ferraris but nothing announces your badmother****erdom greater than rolling up in a loud cammed muscle car. Just my 2 cents

All four years of the Bosses all in Red, '14 Shelby GT500 and '67 Shelby GT350.

It's kind of a hard question to answer truthfully. I do know that I'd probably spend a good chunk of change on completely rebuilding my current GT from square one, rather than by a new one. I'm just not that into the look of '05 and up 'stangs, no offense to anyone that has one. After that, who knows? I'd love to track down my '72 Buick GS with a 455 that I had in high school and dump some cash into that.

But given an infinite amount of money I would have a garage that rivaled Jay Leno. I'm sure several Mustangs would be included.

All production years of Machs, Cobras, and Boss's. Ever since i first laid eyes on a mustang (69 Boss 302 Candy Red) i knew i had to have one. I got an 02 gt, and now a 12 sixxer. My next car will either be an 03-04 cobra/mach or an 08 bullitt.
If i had millions to blow id also pick up a 2012 Aston Virage, 2014 Gallardo, an F40, F430, 6.2 Raptor, a lotus exige 260S and a Stratos

Not with that attitude!
Ford needs to bring the gt back! Then itll be mustang/camaro/challenger then GT/Corvette/Viper. That would just be awesome. It wouldnt cost as much to build the new gt eother. I believe it would really be priced similar to next gen z06 or even zr1 vette while offering the new 5.8L motor much like the previous generation used the 5.4

The only true exotic I'd want with a Lottery win, would be the latest Aston Martin DB9. Otherwise, it'd be a nice little collection of Mustangs, including my current '05 and.......
'66 convertible
'69 Sportsroof restomod
'70 Boss 302
'13 Boss 302
'13 GT350
'14 GT/CS
'15 GT
'17 GT350

Well, if Had lotto money, or Jay Leno money this would be the car I would buy
Mainly because there was only 100 made and only 60 of those 100 were street legal.

When I was about 12 that was my cream car also. Got to ride in one back then. A black on my dads friend owner. At that time it was amazing. But definitely doesn't hold a candle to a 2013 GT 500.
