I had an interesting conversation last week:
Someone: I heard yellow mustangs cost more than all the others.
Me: WHY? Its only paint.
Them: Because you don't see them on the roads, so I heard they cost more.
Me:
Wtf?
That's odd. Cause I see yellow mustangs all over the place. Maybe not 05s and 06es but I see at least a dozen a day.

The inferno red tint pearlcoat on the Intrepid was $200 extra. All other colors were no additional charge.

I don't think yellow mustangs are as common as others, but I know I notice them more than other people because I wanted to be different. You probably notice them more than other people too.
And yes, Ellie and my car are yellow, and they are spectacular. Deal with it, people. (They're just jealous, April)

Also, let them believe yellow costs more, that means there will be less on the road, making you and Ellie the center of attention all the more... that is what you like right. Oh wait, I forgot you are totally humble and not at all an attention hog, just like me.
Orange musta cost even more, then, I s'pose.
But, I also agree, you probably notice yellow more, because you have one, and you probably notice Mustangs as a whole, more. I've seen an orange mustang or two around (6 or GT), but everyone always tell me they've never seen another one.
But, who really cares anyway? The fewer the better, right? :P

Tradeja?
I SO covet a
Comp. Orange
, and am still kicking myself for passing on that GT last August. But then again, had I paid for it I woulda never gotten Ellie, and I do love her a whole lot. Attention hog? Me? Nooooooooo
. But the simple truth is, I see 3 other yellows in Birmingham here, ones a Gt, ones a GT vert, and the others Bizarro Ellie. The vast majority of Mustangs around these parts are reds and greens greys and blues-and there are PLENTY of them.
Isn't anyway I'd trade my CO Mach 1 for an 05
Doesn't matetr what color it'd be.
But, yeah, seems like most Mustangs I see are either a version of red, black, or silver. With a few blues thrown in for good measure. Nothing like having a "rarer" color.

Today was Yellow Mustangs day out.
I saw eight of them aside from mine- but all were 04 and back and some Zinc thrown in for fun.
The Ford Dealer looks like Pea soup= like ten green on the lot

Yeah green, seems to be the new "favorite odd color" ... I don't dislike the color, but I'm not a huge fan either.

I have had my eye out for a yellow sister for Mine. BUT no such luck from those ford Dealers I wish to frequent. All reds and whites and blues and (mainly) greens.
I also have my salesman on the lookout for a comp orange trade in.
Like I am going to complain- Yellow commands attention, and I love attention.

There was an 04 comp orange GT vert down the street at Performance Ford used car lot a week or two ago.
Also, a red Mach as well.

One is a Dark Charcoal Yellow Manual +pony package with Dark IUP. The other is a CO Mach or GT still under warranty.
LOVE the bright look at me colors.
Yellow cost more because you have to capture rays of the sun to put in the paint... and you have to use lots of dandelion pedels...and we all no dandelions don't grow all year round.
