Who's running BFG Sport Comp 2 tires?

I think I've decided to go with these tires for my Bullitt. They have good reviews on Tirerack, looks like they have a big contact patch, rim protector (I think), and they're made in the USA. Who here has any experience with these tires?

I have not personally run them on my boss, but i do have them on my '12 camaro ss. They have been a pretty good tire. Not to loud they seem to grip well and so far they have about 6k miles on them and seem about half worn. I auto-cross this car atleast once a month so my tires wear somewhat quickly. Also a friend of mine went to the boss track attack and reported that half the cars there were sporting the comp 2's and the instructors went for the bfg cars over the ones with the michelen pilots on.

When I was at the Boss track attack that's what they were running on the cars there. The instructors gave them pretty good reviews.

Seems like a lot of Boss owners use these tires. How big is the lip protector on these tires? The ones on my Eagle GT's are pretty huge and I really like that. Makes the tire look bigger and protects the rim really well.
