While shes in the body shop...

Earlier this week I spun out backwards in to a phone pole. The car is in the body shop. While its there I'm thinking of making some changes. 1: getting rid of the pinstripes 2: losing the spoiler 3: doing some stripes like the Shelby GT but in charcoal instead of silver. What do you guys think? Here's a pre accident picture and some of a Shelby GT. My GT/CS has the same side scoops and front and rear bumpers

Definitely agree with losing the spoiler, I think it'll make the car look much sleeker. I like the idea of charcoal racing stripes, though I'd go with matte black.

Yea I thought matte black at first too but I don't think it will be as visible as I'd like :/

Yeah, not crazy on the spoiler on these cars. I do like the Shelby and Roush spoilers though.
I think the charcoal grey will look a lot better too!

I think an even better addition to what you planned is either putting a silver lip on your wheels like the one on the Shelby GT or just getting new 20" Bullits (or 19"s) with the silver lip. If you do charcoal stripes, why not get the charcoal bullit wheels with the silver lip.
That would flow well and match nicely. Maybe even charcoal side stripes.

20's are too big, I wouldn't go any bigger than 18's

A lot of people say 20" 's aren't too big. They actually look great on mustangs.

Dude I was actually thinking the same thing. I might try to redo the wheels myself.

I agree 95 percent. Depends on the wheels IMO.

I still think a smaller wheel would look better, more tire less wheel. I honestly don't like the look of any wheel that big on a car, just my opinion. It kind of takes away some of the "muscle" look with wheels that large.

I agree. I love 15s but I already learned that they suck on the street lol.

I wouldn't go that far(15's), but it depends on the car. Back when I had a Dodge Neon it seemed to perform better when I had 15's than when I replaced them with a larger size. And if I remember correctly my '72 Buick GS with a 455 had 15's on it and it would destroy most cars around these days.

It needs a spoiler of some kind; it looks naked without one. I think red stripes would look better on black than a dark color.
