Has anyone ever had a street legal Mustang that could pull the front wheels off the ground when launched? If so:
What year and model?
How much rwhp?
What diff gears?
What tires?
not permitted.

Naz,

Have you ever broken any suspension componants launching like that?

On the solid axle none (yet).

With the IRS, 2 half-shafts, I diferential punking (craked) and 2 transmisions.

Now, one good point is that NO failures with the addtion of the aluminum flywheel and Im launching harder (6000 RPMs drop clutch) than before (4000 RPMs on the IRS).

Now, with the new found power, Mosers 31 splines and new dif, larger tire (10.5 15 inch slicks and 11.5 inch 15 MT DRs, new suspension changes and new clutch will try 6500 RPMs launch with the 4.30s and a good hook hope for a little air under the front tires ! If done correctly, 1.50s 60fts should be possible at Bitburg.
