Wheel spacers??

Thinking of buying the 1" wheel spacers instead of wider wheels. Are they worth it??

Just want the back wheels to stick out to get that stagger looking stance.

I posted this in your other thread I think. One inch is an awful lot. I went with half inch on 10.5 bullet rims and they were pretty even with the quarter, even slightly out. But get this style with longer studs, safer than just a spacer. http://www.mustangwheelspacers.com/

Don't do it. Its just one more failure point. Save up for some deep dishes and live with the sunkin in rim look for now.

Disagree. If you do it right and pull the axles to put in longer studs you shouldn't have any problem, unless you are racing

I kinda agree with what you said.. but if you are buying rims, you might as well get as wide as you can (best offset) from the getgo.
All the effort you have to go through to install the longer studs, its almost not worth the effort with factory wheels.

Also true. Not to mention kinda funny looking having the same size pizza cutters on the rear but sticking way out. But still, the spacers are good at filling that fat quarter, I had 10.5s on the rear and it still needed a little push out IMO. And if I could do it again I would go 18 x 10 BTW.

I wanna stick with my 17" wheels but thanks for your opinions. Guess I will save for some deep dish wheels. I am gonna try the 1/2" spacer and if it doesn't work just get rid of them. Thank you though.
