Im looking for a v6 mustang to ship back to england what are the going rates for private sales around the 30000 mile mark for the 05 model in manual im asking so i can filter out the too cheap and too expensive cars and if any one knows of a reputable company that can do a quick mechanical inspection for me would also be good to know thanks in advance people

 

Being based in the UK, I can't give you prices for US based Mustangs, but I can recommend Ron Fenton at STS imports for shipping your car.

He's based in the UK, but has a Florida location too. He's bought many Mustangs into the UK for happy customers.

Are you a UK resident? If so, you'll need to add import duty and VAT to the cost of the car, plus shipping. There's also the IVA (Individual Vehicle Approval) conversion required to get the lights UK legal.

Seems, with the current $/£ rate, plus all of the above, you'll find a $15k Mustang becomes £15k by the time you're done and dusted.

S/b able to find an 05-09 V6 well below $15k though. Im getting $7k trade-in on an 07 w/ 45k in nice shape.

 

cheers Paul I have figured that out about testing and the thieving HMRC but I am seeing good cars in the 10k us and under region so will still be much cheaper to import than buy one here
