So I thinking about buying a mustang and I'm not sure exactly what I should get. I don't wanna spend more than 3-4k on it. It would be a daily driver and be a project at the same time. My question is what year, engine, and body style would be a good choice. I also want v8 power so should I start with a v8 car and build on that or should I get a 4 or 6 cylinder and drop in my own v8. Any ideas,help, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

about the only thing you can get in that price range is a fox body .. everything older and newer is higher

 

Pretty much. You can find some sn95's in that price as well. But get a v8 to start out with if you wanting a v8 car

 

Try to find a fox with a 5.0. That would be a great place to start.
