what I like

I belong to a Mustang track group and a S550 (2015-2023 )group and enjoy them both However what they lack is what this one has. This forum is that it covers all Mustangs and has a very wide age range. Just thought I would say thank you for the wide diversity of this group.

It is definitely nice here but I do miss the many members who have left for whatever reasons. The number of posters has dropped quite a bit from when I joined, and I believe there were many more before that. I was 'late to the game' in joining car forums. but at least I am here. I had two elderly friends that were Mustang owners that never learned computers at all, and stayed on the sidelines. They have both passed away so would not have belonged for long anyway.
Here were their cars at one of the many shows we attended together. 1972 Grande, a 1970 Mach 1, and then my old '07 GT/CS. I sold the '72 for the widow and the '70 went to the owner's daughter in FL. My '07 is now in Wisconsin. All 3 nothing but a memory now but hopefully new memories are down the road with my '14 GT.

I Did a Little Search And For Year to Date Posters Who Posted at Least Ten Times We Had 55 Different Posters. That Weeds Out Most of the Drive By Posters and Leaves Us With Mostly Regulars! 01-01-23 to 04-30-23

To Compare From Web Start Date First Five Months We Had 2547 Different Posters With at Least Ten Posts Yes That's a Big Difference! 01-29-04 to 05-29-04 To Give a 5 Month Snapshot.

Granted The Intro Was Peak Interest. I'm Actually Surprised at 55 Different Posters at This Point!

@1cobra

1 Old Racer, where are you at in S. Cal? I escaped from there in 1994 6 or 7 months after the Northridge Earthquake. I am originally from LA County myself.
There are some sweet mountain roads in LA,Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties to play on. I used to run on a lot of those with a set of Bottom Dumps behind my Peterbuilt or my Kenworth Transfer. I scared many a person on Ortega Highway with my loaded Transfer running from Corona to Capistrano or Irvine back to Corona in the Afternoon.

05stangkc Thank you for that info. I found it interesting and I hope the current numbers can keep the site alive.

Also keep in mind that active consistency is also just as important as start date status, otherwise start date status becomes irrelevant once membership activity disappears.
