What is the FASTEST you've gone?
This forum topic is very popular on other sites. I will start it off by saying my top speed so far is 135. What is the fastest you've gone in your stang?

150 mph... In the Cougar on the German Autobahn. Got the Stang up to 140 mph before I had to level off for traffic, so my fastest isn't with the Stang

I routinely hit 125-130 at the end of the long front straight at High Plains Raceway, about every 2 minutes when going around that track.
On the street, don't think I've done more than 110-115. I don't live in a lightly populated area where I trust there aren't state patrol or local police sitting around waiting to take away my license, or increase the city or state's revenue substantially.
Now if I lived in Wyoming or Montana...

The fastest I have ever gon was in my first car doing 120 trying to get my Aunt home so she could gtfo of my car ... Fastest in my Mustang was 110 on a cruise while trying to catch up to Termis in my V6 LMAO

The fastest I have ever been in my Cobra was the day I test drove it. It was pegged at 160mph I don't know if it read correctly or if I was going faster but I have never driven it that fast ever again. I got my GT up to 125 trying to keep up with my friend's '00 SS... didn't work out to well lol.
The fastest I have ever been in a car was in my friend's Z06 where we hit 170mph! He was the driver and I was the scared-out-of-my-mind passenger!
