I did it with my '65 years back. I thought it looked cool at the time, but after a while I found myself embarrassed by it.

same as mine. Blue lights on my white car. Didnt look too bad. I had the same problem with being able to see the actual light from certain angles (like Above) so i put black tape on the outside of the light so they wouldn't shine out from under the car, but instead be a glow from underneath and the actual light stick wasn't visible. I'm trying to find pictures but aren't coming up with any, and the pics are gone from my old thread when I did it.
