I've seen all kinds of 'deflectors' on convertibles over the years. That is a different one for sure. Cool video 05stangkc
I still don't understand why people buy convertibles if they dislike the wind. Unless there is a health issue of some type or they don't like their hat blowing off, why buy a 'vert?? Isn't the point to enjoy the sun and have the wind blow in your hair (even though my hair is long gone ).
I have owned quite a few 'verts over the decades (see photos) and never did I consider a deflector. I would like hearing the pros about having one from owners even if a health reason. I get it. Obviously there is a market for them. I'm old but willing to listen,
Current 2014 2007 on one of many road trips Triple white 2004 2001 Trans Am 2009 C6 1995 911 Cabriolet on TOTD My first one. 1969 Fiat 850
And, it fits in the trunk when not needed or when a 3rd or 4th passenger jumps in. It's great for me 'cause I have long hair '70s style. With this, no hair flying in my face. Perfect. Same reason why I keep the hardtop on another car.

OK, the looks!! That I understand. Many are called boot covers or tonneau covers though and I have those, They are not really wind deflectors for the passengers. Removeable hard tops are really not called deflectors either, from the 2002 - 2005 Thunderbirds to any T-Top car for that matter.

By the way, we just listed our boot tonneau cover for sale in the Mustang 'parts for sale' classified section here on the site. We were thinking about trying it but we never used it for our 2007 GT and won't use it for this car either after already taking a few trips 'topless' without it. .Maybe someone would like it for a decent price.
