trading in my car opinions on new cars
I want to stay with a ford
so heres my list
2014 focus loaded 27ish (think I could trade straight for a new loaded 1)
2011 awd sel edge 57k miles loaded every option but sunroof also a straight trade(has 100k warranty) BEYOND LOADED
2013 escape sel I think every option but nav (straight trade)
2013 flex sel no leather or nav pretty basic 20k miles
please help me on this. I am getting rid of my car for the following reasons:
wife can't drive stick
want something with better mpg(I get 15 highway)
want better comfort
want to haul 4 people time to time (wife n me + 2 friends)
I need more cargo room
my cars a 13 im the 3rd owner and its got one wreck that was less than 400(someone hit me at a stop light)
8800 miles on my car and its in mint shape
all stock my cars got 401a leather, its a premium, 3.73 gears and brembo package, rear factory spoiler.
do yall think I can get 27 trade in?

Of course it is a very personal decision for you to make, not us. Since you are asking our opinions I personally would choose that new Focus over any of the used cars you have listed. No issues to worry about and there is nothing nicer than owning a car when new. If I saw a used 10,000 miles near mint GT on your list, then my thoughts would be different.

I would say drive them all. Your car will grab you when you are in the seat. That said, I would rock the focus. The hatch makes it very usable for carrying things and it's still a blast to drive.

I own a 2013 Escape. I love the ecoboost. It accelerates great. As far as gas mileage it gets about the same as my Mustang which is about 25-26mpg. I can't think of anything I don't like about it accept it's not as fun as my Mustang.

I love the ford focus hatch can yall tell me what you think they will give me trade in nada and kbb say about 27
I think a new loaded focus is 26ish
and honestly I love the focus and escape... the escape is so amazing inside
heres the escape

I really wish it had a backup cam and nav but other than that no complaints
the flex was the vehicle that caught my attention but the mpg is the downside along with no leather or sunroof.

As far as your 'trade-in' you won't get what KBB has in their price guide. Not in this instance anyway. If you were buying a $40,000 Ford then possibly as they have room to work with. Dealerships will never trade even or remotely close. They will want thousands plus your Mustang for that new Focus. That's why so many people do private sales, then you can take that $$ and pay cash, and negotiate for that Focus.

One of your reasons for a change is that your wife can't drive a manual . . . The Focus ST only comes with a manual.

I think the Flex is an amazing and underrated car, at the same time I think it will be one of those cars in the future that will be desired and collected for its "different" look compared to everything that is out today.
