traction control

I have a 5 speed with 450+ Hp. Find it tough to get started without a lot of wheel spin. Running my buddy in the quarter and his 2011 5.0 this weekend. should i try traction on or off, anyone with experience would be appreciated. Before you say it, i cant "just try it", currently my tune is set with it off. Thats why I am asking

Have you considered some suspension upgrades, perhaps some steeda rear lower trailing arms and springs to help keep you planted and launch better or even tires that might hook up better? I'm just throwing that out, I don't know what kind of modifcations you already have.
