5. 1968 Shelby GT 500 KR Convertible
4. 2006 Project Source Horse
3. 2007 Roush Roadster
2. 2008 Shelby GT Convertible
1. 2008 Shelby GT500 Super Snake Convertible

See a pattern?
If it ain't a convertible, and covers the 1/4 mile in less than 14 seconds, something is missing.

THis is EXTREMELY hard to figure out. But anyhow, here is my list in reverse order:

5. 1993 SVT Cobra. The start of the "Skunk works Mustang". Make mine Teal please.
4. 1969-1970 Boss 302. The start of Ford's factory racing efforts.
3. 1970 Boss 429. So rare & more valuable than some Shelby Mustangs.
2. 1965 GT350. A race car for the street, literally
1. 1964 1/2. I know its nothing fast, BUT it did start it all.

This is a tough one...

1. 1969 Boss 429
2. 1968 GT500KR
3. 2008 GT500 SS
4. My car (2006 GT)
5. 2004 Terminator

The first pick was easy. The rest could be different with my mood.

1). 1964.5 Mustang - Started it all
2). 1967 GT390 - Everyone knows about the movie Bullitt
3). 2000 Mustang Cobra R - People still talk about it!
4). 2003 SVT Cobra - The Terminator! It shows what a modern Cobra can really do, and the tradition has held with the 07 GT500.
5). 2005 Mustang GT - It caused GM and Daimler/Chrysler to tuck their tails and run away to make their own re-imagined retro models... to debut 4-5 years later. Ford beat GM and Chrysler to the punch yet again. With gas prices going higher and higher, and the mainstream buyer not wanting to buy ultra expensive cars (above $30k), I do not see a bright future for the Challenger and Camaro. The high performance models may fare well in a niche market (just like the Mustang GT / GT500) but the main reason Ford keeps the Mustang around is respectable V6 sales.

69 Shelby GT 500 Hatch Back
69 Shelby GT 500 Convertible
69 Mustang Boss 429
06 Mustang GT Convertible
07 Roush 427R convertible

Loved the 69-70 Shelbys and Mustangs but sure like having a 445 HP Roush 427R Mustang with a 55 Thousand Mile Warranty!!!!
