SORRY ,,,I just love the classics
). 1964.5 Mustang - Started it all
). 1967 GT390 - Everyone knows about the movie Bullitt
). 2000 Mustang Cobra R - People still talk about it!
). 2003 SVT Cobra - The Terminator! It shows what a modern Cobra can really do, and the tradition has held with the 07 GT500.
). 2005 Mustang GT - It caused GM and Daimler/Chrysler to tuck their tails and run away to make their own re-imagined retro models... to debut 4-5 years later. Ford beat GM and Chrysler to the punch yet again. With gas prices going higher and higher, and the mainstream buyer not wanting to buy ultra expensive cars (above $30k), I do not see a bright future for the Challenger and Camaro. The high performance models may fare well in a niche market (just like the Mustang GT / GT500) but the main reason Ford keeps the Mustang around is respectable V6 sales.
