There is a nastier grill than the Mustang to detail

I thought my GT/CS grill was the absolute hardest thing to properly detail until I bought my R/T in 2020. There must be a hundred 'honeycomb' openings in the darn thing at the top & bottom. My poor old fingers! Even with Q-tips and toothbrushes it takes forever.
Now I know one of the reasons why I kept my Trans Am all these years. So easy!

You can't see the grill from the drivers seat! But it does look good

No question, the honeycomb grills are always a huge PITA to detail, especially when it comes to getting insects out

Wow had not thought of that. Those honey comb grills do look sharp, but glad I don't have one. Have had wheels that were a big pain before, so I feel for you.

Ah yes, the wheels too. I had no choice with the R/T on that either. Delightful 'easy to clean' 5 spokes on the Mustang. It takes me at least twice as long to clean these.. No 5 spoke offered or I would have got them. Don't get me wrong, I really like my Dodge, but life could have been made easier as far as detailing.

Oh man! I was thinking of the dreaded 'lovebug' seasons in Florida. What a nightmare!! 'Been there, done that' during my school and work years there.

Trust me, it can also be a nightmare up here in the Burgh during the summer as well.. We often get 90 degree temps here during the summer and when driving on the interstate at night, is when those dreaded bugs are at the worst

Yes, but those are not too bad. I believe mine were these (not the gal ) or something very close to these simulated cross-wire mag wheels. They were a real pain to clean as well. Little holes and lots of them. Just glad they were not on a disk brake car. I did not have the brake dust issue, would have been way worse.

Here is what I have found that makes cleaning my Mustangs 5 spoke wheels a piece of cake. Looks like they will work on yours too. Found at Wally World for like $7.

Thank you ShaneyUSA, That looks like it would work well. I have a mitt that has those 'fingerlings' but the longer extended version that you show would be useful for the wheels.

Ref that wheel in your photo with the girl, NO THANKS!! Man!

Very nice find indeed! This will also come in very handy on my 10 spoke GT500 wheels as well.. Meanwhile, thanks for sharing
