I've always wondered, why does an FF drag car always have the headlight cut out for an intake? RWD doesn't do that...

they do that so because it's right next to the CAI... OLD hot rodding trick.

My rear-wheel drive Crown Vic's Marauder air intake is right behind the driver's headlamp housing. I personally have not tried removing it to get more air, but we did it on a supercharged Crown Vic without seeing any real results.
