I'm still new at the manuel and I've noticed lately that shifting into 1st is too easy it feels like it just slides in with having to push. Almost like a too loose feeling...does that make sense? I don't know how else to discribe it.

Tell us what year of vehicle you are talking about. It may be nothing more than a newer vehicle situation, as many new cars have a triple cone synchro in first and second for easier execution. It was not too many years back that most had a single cone synchros and it took more effort. Not knowing the year or completely sure of your predicament, it may actually be normal or in the case of an older car, you may have some wear from usage.

 

Its a 2005 GT model. It just feels like butter where the other gears feels like a gear change. In other words putting it in 1st feels like its extra loose
