To do something like that to a classic, what a shame

 

Quick, somebody build a Skyline with a '04 Cobra engine and T56...

But, I don't understand why they couldn't get a big block retro-mod engine in it instead.

Im sure they couldve, but when all the little ricers go out to see F&F 3 they want to see a car that looks cooler than their little civics and lancers (even though they wont admit it) but they still want it to be an import. And from that we get this monstrosity.

Well, consider this small revenge in a way - I was looking through an import? magazine (yeah, yeah, "rice paper") and saw an article on Bonneville. There was a 240SX with a flathead in it!
As for the Mustang with the Skyline powertrain... don't like it, but knowing what it is capable of, you know its fast. At least in the movie... Oh, for shame!

 

I'm trying to decide what would be worse . . .the Stang with this Skyline motor, or if it had a 350 Chevy. I think I'm more intrigued with the Skyline combo . . . .

how do these people sleep at night. that is such a disgrace.

 

Nothing wrong with a little innovation. I get bored of seeing 800hp blown Cobras and I get bored with 800hp TT Skylines, this is something new and I'll bet its fast as sin. Its just a shame you lose the V8 sound.

 

I wonder how many kittens were killed when they made that ricestang.
