I am fairly sure I knew of / seen that car in a past life in California...that's a Pete Paulson's Hot Rod Party sticker on the left side of the dash....used to go to that event...neat, but nothing between the rear seats is strange, and doesn't the body line seem to angle, straighten out, and then angle again with the rear door? Must be slooooow with that 289, and also, an Optimus cheapo home stereo woofer in the back? That car screams 90s...grant wheel and all...Neat car, not 40+ thousand worth of neat, but neat all the same.

Haha, nope. I never attended a California school. I'm from WA state - grew up about 60 miles from the border, and most of our British Columbia neighbors are Seahawks fans! I happen to be "stuck" in CA now.

And here I was, thinking "Thank God they only hacked up a '66 coupe"! I would be a lot more disturbed if they had hacked up a fastback!

Similar in concept to the one at Operation Mustang...google Mustang Limo and you'll find this has been done quite a number of times.

Nobody. It'd be worth more restored if it were perfectly good.

However, if you had one Mustang coupe, smashed in the front that would be great for the back end, provided everything from the firewall back is good to go.

And if you had a punched-in-the-back coupe, then that would be good for the front end, as long as everything from the 'B pillar area' is good to go.

Hack the offending bad bits, perhaps acquire a couple of extra doors if one or two aren't good from the donors... a bit of paneling in the middle... and voila, Limostang!

I don't see the problem... IF it happened that way. And only if. Because then it's a "why not, the two main donors aren't worth anything by themselves anyway." And all the suspension bits aren't going to be expensive to acquire anyway... it's not a whole lot of extra weight to suspend between the two, and there's nothing a bit of gusseting/welding on the suspension bits can't cure, as well as any shock/spring issues. All is fixable in that respect and fairly cheap to do if you're bothering in the first place.

That's... how I see it, anyway. I would really like to know the history of how this Frankenstang came to be, honest.
