Yeah, 6 miles isn't so bad with great snow tires. It's not you that you have to worry about, it's the others out on the roads.

It's a sad day. Tonight I took my car through a car wash and wiped it down. I put Stable in the tank and tucked it into the corner. If it ends up snowing I'll put the battery tender on. Car cover is waiting. Sad!

I'm not ready either. Still got to do all that stuff. Have a battery tender. Need a cover though.

I just wanted to make sure there was no dirt sitting on it so I could cover it.

I might wash mine if I find the time tomorrow. I gotta get the explorer detailed and ready for winter. Should be interesting. I've yet to clay bar it.

Yes. Sad day indeed guys.
I have my battery tender ready, but haven't used it yet.
When I move the snow blower to the front of the garage from the back,...then it becomes an official "bad day" for me. That day is coming. Maybe next week?

I hear you on Flagstaff. My late uncle lived in Flagstaff and retired from the Flagstaff FD. He showed me pictures of a snowstorm they had, there was 40 inches of snow on his driveway!

Most people don't think about snow in AZ. The funny thing is that the state still sucks at clearing the roads in flagstaff. Its stressful having to get to work in 3 feet of snow and ice. I would clear the car off and put the top down and cruise into work with the radio cranked up.

The flag part of my name is because I lived in flagstaff.

Day 1 we had our first snow storm. It was heavier to the North. Seams old man winter has a thing for Nathan and his northern neighbors. Not to worry, we will be getting more snow after tonight. I finally plugged in my battery tender at 11:15PM. Day 1 of the 2014 Snowmageddon.
I drove thru an Ice storm once in Flagstaff. The road had over an inch of ice covering it. We had to wait it out in a truck stop till morning. That was the only time I've been to Flagstaff. Loved Arizona it was a great place.

Day 2. The snow is still there. Lots of salt on the roads.
