Skunk stripes installed by dealer

Does anyone know how the stripes are SUPPOSED to look on the 05+ Mustang GT's. My dealer installed them after I purchased the car and we are in debate as to how they end on the trunk. I say they should wrap all the way to the bumper. they ended it on the top lip under the spoiler.
Not only that, they didn't even wrap the edges.

Any knowledge or photo shots of the rear they way it should be would be great.

Every dealer installed stripe kit I have seen stops at the hood and at the third brake light.

the Ford Accessory stripes end on the edge of the hood and around the 3rd brake light.
check out the Ford official accessories catalogue and you'll see what i mean.

i think your'e better off getting a set of bumper to bumper vinyl stripes from bobwhitedecals and do it yourself

thanks for the input. Someone also told me to check out baltimore street mods. i thought the 8" would look ok, but now I'm thinking they are too narrow.

The Ford stripes stop at the lid. The stripes should go past the bumper. This is why you don't buy the factory stripes.

I had mine done by my dealership a week after I got the car. They outsourced their paint and detailing work to a company called ZebraStripes. They did a very good job. The stripes perfectly aligned, and well wrapped around the edges (like under the hood lip and trunk lip) so they don't fray.

FYI The dealer threw in the stripes to make the deal, Then the shop THREW on the stripes. I'm going to go ahead and get the superstripe kit from Baltimore street mods and redo it myself .

That sucks. Why didn't you complain?

If they didn't do it right, why spend your own money and time to do it? Make them do it correctly. It was part of the deal.

After having some time to think about it, i decided that I like the Superstripe better. It reminds me more of the stripes that came on the 69-70 Mach 1's of which I had 2.
After talking with the dealer, they gave me the name of the shop that did the work. i contacted them and they will gladly redo the work. he appoligized for the qualily of workmanship and gave the excuse of being that "it was the end of the day" rush. For my trouble he will also put tint my windows

That's cool. I guess that worked out then.

I looked at those superstripes. The description said something about there being a seam down the middle. Hmm...

Really, I didn't see that. I better look again before pulling the trigger.
Thanks for pointing it out.

I think I kinda missread too. Here's what the site said about "seams":

*Most non-stock spoilers will require a seam to finish the wrap. If you select one of these spoilers, you wil be sent a solid piece that you can attempt a 1-piece install, b ut will also include a "Patch piece" so that you can trim the ful piece in necessary and finish the spoiler with the second piece. The front bumpers will all contain a seam, as the contours are just too great from side to side

Gotta love stripes on these cars, not for everyone but when I see a Pony gallop by they can't stop staring at mine.

What sucks is that I'm planning on buying a new hood, and when I do, not only will I have to paint it, but re-stripe it. That probably means I'll have to buy a who new stripe kit...UGH...

I'm ready to kill.

My baby was vandalized in my driveway the other night. looks like the @!@*$&D took a hammer to the hood! 7 dimples and a chip. I want to cry since it's only 2 weeks old.

Stripes are now on hold until i have it repaired.

Either the GT-S Ram Air (I really like the retro '67 Shelby look), or the GTR Ram Air hood (I like the functional design of this one). TruFiber seems to have some pretty good prices, next to Mr.Bodykit.
