Should I take my car to work tomorrow?
Should I take my car to work tomorrow?
Well it's been at least a week since I've gotten to drive my Mustang. It's been raining here and frankly keeping a black car clean is problematic enough without driving on wet and grimy roads too. So here's the local forecast for Friday.
Local Forecast
Fri
Sep 25

Isolated T-Storms
High-84°
Low-69°
Chance of Rain-30%
So what do you think? It's completely up to you people. However, if I have to spend all day Saturday cleaning the car again it's gonna suck to be me.
BTW...I'm talking about this car.

If I don't take this car, I'll take the truck. Not nearly as fun, but if I never wash it, who gives a crap.

Take it, but keep an eye on the weather. Aren't you like 3 minutes from home?

The main problem is we have a parking lot that is half gravel and half dirt. My parking spot is in the dirt and pot holes. If it rains, the car will get dirty. Underneath too.
What about the 5.0? You could always take the truck to work, then go for a nice cruise this weekend to get your fix.
I thought you said the parking lot was dirt.
I figured that.
One thing that's always annoyed me on tv and movies is when cars squeal their tires on dirt roads.
Notch. 5.0. Blown. Now.

Well I want a blower.
Thanks Jim.
Don't you drive like an hour or something?
BTW my cars only seen rain twice. Once on a two hour trip where I was stuck in it and couldn't just go home, and the second time was a flood where I got trapped downtown because all the streets around me had 8" of water at least.

Yep 1 to 1.5 hours each way so if there is a hint of rain in the forecast mine stays home. However 3 min away you really don't have an excuse...
take a "smoke break" and run it home it the sky's look bad.Mine also has only been driven in the rain twice as both times i was on a trip and could not get home. Otherwise it does sit outside all of the time, but getting rained on and driving in the rain are two different things.
