Shifter question

I just recently bought a 2011 v6 manual shifter and I find that shifting from 1s to 2nd is really rough does anyone else have this issue?

Many have.....try easing your grip on the shifter. Many have found that they were trying to force the shifter to much like it was an old 4 speed. I had the same issues and now it shifts great.
