This is especially interesting because the guy that used to do PR for Unique is now in PR at Shelby.

 

Truthfully I don't really care, Gone in 60 Seconds came out 7 years ago so the whole Eleanor thing is kinda old and been done too many times. I never did like the idea of "continuation" cars anyway I just don't consider them real Shelbys just crapped out inline sixes made for Barrett-Jackson but thats just my opinion.

 

I bet these cars will be made at Shelby Autos in Las Vegas. You would think that it will be cheaper to make them with the whole Dynacorn thing. I had heard somewhere that Unique was getting ready to stop making Eleanors anyway.

 

**** that sucks. Last year they were going strong. I was there for their car show, which was huge. Didn't see any signs of trouble then. Chip Foose was there and everything. Plenty of stuff in the shop too. Who knows.

 

I wonder what that will do to the value of these cars?

i agree and could really care less. Kinda sick of seeing all the Eleanor look a likes anyway. It's not original anymore. If there gonna remake old Shelby's they should come strait from Shelby, which is what I'd think this move might mean. Plus I can't afford these anyway so why would I really care

Im pretty sick of hearing all about Shelby its really getting old, sure...Shelby is an icon, but I think he's a little past his prime and I think Ford is leaning on him too much and I kinda feel like both sides are a little too greedy.

It seems like every day we hear "The next Ultra limited Edition is the Shelby GT500SuperSnakeKRCS6 and they're only making 10,000 of them!" A little redundant to me.

Edit: If the quality wasn't any better than the cars they had on display at the 100th Anniversary Ford show at Ford World Headquarters, it 's no wonder they shut down. Not very good for a $100,000. Looked fine if it were done in the backyard.
