Question Serious Question

So, I'm not sure how much money I want to dump into my S197 Stang but I need your opinions. Do you think the S197 Generation of Stangs will be as memorable as the 1st Generation Stangs?

I had a '67 fastback for 30 years. This is just as fun (or more).

Well, actually, if you ask me, I think that the S197's saved the Mustangs. They were getting really old and were being beaten down by competition. They were goin the way of the Camaro. But thank god for the redesign! Best looking car on the planet. So yeah, I'd say that they are as memorable.

I say no. unless government resrictions make the next gen less then a performacnce car. If it keeps getting faster and faster i beleive the next will keep outshinning the last.

I say yes. 30 years from now, some 49 year old guy will be thinking about his 2007 GT and wishing that he'd kept it, just like I wish I'd kept my 70 Mach 1!

Definitely a yes for me since this is my first mustang. I plan on keeping this one for a long time. Hopefully I will still have it in 30 years and still have just as much fun driving it.

I'd say it will always be a classic, it is arguably the best looking Mustang since the 1970 model and the aftermarket is huge and growing. Another thing is that as of now it is etching itself into the memory and hearts of kids that will grow up to be the next generation of Mustang nuts.
