The “Vicious” 1965 Mustang that Timeless Kustoms unveiled at this year’s SEMA show is more than one kind of mashup.
Timeless took a ’65 Mustang notchback, chopped off its top, then grafted on a fastback lid. It then put a custom chassis mated with a Corvette- based suspension under that wide-body sheet metal.
Under the hood, there’s a Ford Performance 5.1L Aluminator V8 with GT350 ported heads, a forged 302 crankshaft, a supercharger…AND twin turbos. That triple charging is good for more than 1,000 horsepower on 93 octane. That monster engine breathes through long-tube headers and a custom center-exit exhaust.
When all of that power gets dumped through the sequential six-speed gearbox, it lights up the rear 19″x13″ wheels/V720 355/30ZR19 tires (the front end changes directions through 19”x11” wheels and V720 305/30ZR19 rubber). Carbon-ceramic 15.5-inch brakes from Brembo – six-piston up front, four-piston in the back – scrub off high speeds. Other safety gear includes a roll cage, fire suppression system, and Sparco seats with safety harnesses.
Jason Pecikonis of Timeless Kustoms calls the “Vicious” Mustang, “The ultimate road race Mustang with a street car environment. It’s nine-tenths race car with one-tenth street car and is an exercise in performance first, before the visual.”
Sounds like another great mashup to us. What do you think?

SEMA cars have to be over the top to get noticed.
Not my cup of tea, but the build quality looks great.
I like the idea of a blower & twin turbos !!
