sct tune idle setting question
13 gt auto/select shift bassani axle backs 91 sct tune
was wanting a louder exhaust sound note in idle (at stop lights, and city street driving etc...) and noticed there were some options in sct tune "idle speed drive" and "idle speed neutral" so I increased them both to 1000rpm just to experiment (from 650 default). Well its definitely louder more aggressive in neutral/park and driving: throttle also seems more responsive when driving, though gear shifts much choppier when driving in normal auto or sport mode. What is downside of setting higher idles other than mpg. Does higher idling detract from performance. Should I revert back to the standard idle settings? Any feedback to a rook appreciated thanks!

I've got the same problem about my exhaust being too quiet at idle. It bothered me so much, I actually put it back to stock. I'm thinking about emailing them for a new tune with a higher idle RPM. I'm too scared to mess with the settings myself.
