I had a coworker at the firehouse tell me that his Hyundai Tiburon would smoke my Mustang GT. and challenged me to take the car out to the A&M (Hayes Memorial Drive, a long straight stretch of road with a quarter mile marked by the local street racers; it was called the A&M for the Atkins and Merril company, a manufacturer of aerospace components and located at the end of the road) ... I just nodded and asked him to turn around around and ask the person standing behind him would agree...

His pregnant wife was not happy!

 

Win or lose, he still has to drive home in a Kee-yah.

Yawns yeah he bored me after the first page. Wasn't impressed with st least 380 rwhp bit he is impressed with 274 fly wheel hp. It is funny cuz your BFF husband is talking out of his gord. Not to mention how does he know if the GTO was a 5.7 or a 6.0? Hand your keys to your best friend and tell him that's the only way he will beat you since you can't even start ur car with the keys in ur bffs hands. Not to mention that if front wheel cars had better take off then why do 8000 hp funny cars have rear wheel drive? Oh wait because physics tells us the momentum will be pushed to the haunches of the car creating better traction to the powered wheels not away from them like a front wheel car does

When y'all look at these pics, do they get blurry? I've noticed on the app and the forum runner app, my pics are blurry. It doesn't do it on my other forum, but it resizes pics. Does that have something to do with it. Sorry for the change in subject, but I was curious.

 

It's easy enough to read in that aspect, just not the content of what I was reading was easy. Idiots tend to speak a different language then myself and I really have to focus on what they are saying to attempt any discussion with them

I just did some research and Motor Trend has the 2011 Mustang V6 0-60 at 5.3 seconds and the Kia at 6.1 seconds.

The fact that he truly believes that front wheel drive cars launch better than rear wheel drive cars leads me to believe that he will never even listen to somebody trying to tell him differently.
