I just had to run an errand and there sat an older probably 8O's LX mustang in the parking lot........ Its to believe the same manufacturer built those and the new 05's.....

My mother had a 89 LX hatchback with the 4cyl and 5 speed. My brother and I used to drive that car hard. It was a fun car!

I agree, I think thats the worst body style they had for the mustang in my opinion..

 

Why don't you back up your opinions with some detailed explanations of why you think they are a pile of junk.

 

No, they are not my favorite mustangs, but unless I find a real good deal on a different mustang, I hope to be driving a fox sometime soon as a first car.

So now, rather than V6 v. GT, we move on to Fox Body v. '05. Go figure.

 

i have an 05 and a 91 and i love them both the same, i actually think my 91 looks better but it is not stock. Either way they are both beautiful cars and neither one deserves a put down, now the Mustang II... thats another story

I have had 4 +1(parts car) fox mustangs, they are still the best value on the market for a go fast car that is easy to mod for cheep

I just really think they went the wrong way in the body style from 1970-1993. It kinda reminds me of the old cavaliers in a way

 

Even if you like the way it looks its still Junk. From the quality of the materials to the interior design to quality of the ride. And no I didn't drive it but I had drove one years ago when I was a kid and I thought it was junk then. My point being is that I have not seen one for a while to even think about it and after seeing it sitting there it just made me realize how Ford has come a long way from the 80's. I am just expressing an opinion If you think different thats OK. Hey some people think the ford focus is a real nice car, do you?

 

Ignorant people with arrogant attitudes should deserve a similar fate.

 

I bought a 86 Gt new and it was far from junk I had 202,000 miles on it when i sold it

 

The 80's mustangs were not my favorite body styles by a long shot even though I owned an 89 LX. Everybody has their own preference. Don't get down on people because they like them or own them, because there are people out there that hate the way our 05's look too.

To the defense of the guys that don't like them, it's easier to like the looks of a less desirable body style if it's got a set of wide tires on chrome rims and some mods done to it like the pictures posted here. I know before I changed the skinny rims and tires on my LX (4 banger) it looked pretty weak.

I like all mustangs. It's just that I like others more.
