Rwd

Hey guys. Just recently bought my first stang (5.0). It is also my first rwd. I dont have much experience driving rwd and know they have a tendency 2 spin out if pushed too hard. I wanted to get some feedback/ experiences from you guys and see what's a good way to learn its limits. Appreciate the help

Your traction control and ESC will save you from the rear end coming around, they work great.

Limits? Ok... Drive it. Perhaps in a big, uncluttered, abandoned area. Or a track. But don't be trying to learn the limits on the streets, that's just... silliness, to be nice about it.

You'll figure it out. And +1 on the Traction Control and ESC.

The first time that you lose the *** in it will be a special moment. It's like becoming a man.

I remember first losin traction in the rain. Instinct took over and i turned into Tanner Foust
Explore the limits in a WIDE OPEN area but definitely +1 on the TSC

Yeah once i break it in def doing some donuts haha So when it does spin out (not intentionally), do you get feedback from the car as the end is about to break out or is it a sudden thing? I'm sure how fast you're going and road conditions is a factor but wanted to gauge how predictable it is

I turn my TC off. Now. 85,000 miles with mine and I know exactly what my car will do. You will too with time and that's when its fun...I've NEVER had my rear end cut loose in dry weather, but in the rain I can slide the rear end with a little oversteer and gas in corners which is a blast
