retitling a mustang
I'm building my 94 mustang in memory of my grandfather who raised me n was reason I joined the army n made it as far in life as I have. My question is if I use all gt500 parts can I have it retitled as a gt500 since there wasn't one in my body style

No, the title is attached to the VIN, and no matter what you do to the car it will always carry that VIN. The VIN will tell you what the car was when it was manufactured. What drivetrain and option packages it had, when it was manufactured, etc... It's the easiest way to tell a fake GT500 from a real one. The VIN never lies.

There is a way, but it is very very expensive. You would need one of these. Then you would have to build it from the ground up using GT500 parts. Then you would have to take it to a state inspection center, where they will approve it for the road, and issue it a VIN number, then it could be titled to it's closest resembling car which would be the GT500.
