Unhappy Rear defrost

Current issue is my rear defrost. I fixed it with a thermally conductive adhesive, It worked for a few days and then stopped. Now i can not get that stuff off to try again. Any suggestions?
My car is a convertible 2014 mustang and its cold outside!!

Sorry to hear your defrost is not working. Now was this adhesive the type that gets hard or does it stay flexible. If I gets hard and you can get the car in a garage. Let the car in the garage to get warm then just try and chip it away but be careful because as you know there is a window there. Don't do it when it is cold because it will shatter the window.. I am saying al this because I am assuming that you connection you are talking about is on the window

Not too familiar with the setup of a convertible window. But if you post pictures of the connection we might be able to better help you. @Jaryd21 has good suggestions.
