Rather sad. Things change quick
We just returned from an 18 day 5,655 miles Route 66 trek this week. Since we have done a lot of it in the past with our Mustang, this year we took our now 20 year old Trans Am. One of the sadder stops was this old restored Phillips 66 gas station in Chandler Oklahoma. Just 4 years ago it looked like this (our Mustang in background). This year you can see what has happened. Falling into disrepair for whatever reason with things missing. I tried a Google search briefly but didn't see anything. I might dig deeper to see what occurred. It just shows that things never stay the same.
I'll share more photos eventually of our travels, especially the museums with Mustangs. I don't think anyone wants to see Pontiac photos

OK, I found an article about it. It was foreclosed in 2019. I hope whoever buys it can maintain it as a piece of Rte 66 history. It takes $$$.
