You will have to change the K member to put a 302 or 351 in

Only if his car had a 4.6 the V6 uses the same k member as 94-95 GTs

Are you sure you can even do this? I ask because you don't seem that knowledgeable. A pushrod V8 is a motor that uses lifters and rods (that ride on cam lobes) to open the valves, as opposed to newer motors that have overhead cams that open the valves directly.

If you have a V6 now, use a motor from a Fox body. You can swap in a 4.6, but like has already been said, you'll need a different k-member to do it, which increases the cost of the swap.

You really do need to research your options, and make a plan before buying ANYTHING. Research your local smog regulations as well. Here in Texas, we can't put motors into a car that weren't available in the year the car was made (and that sucks on so many levels).
