Questions,
Alright, so I was thinking about putting a supercharger in my mustang, but people are telling me all sorts of things. They are telling me it's hard to put in & that a lot of changes are to e made to the engine because of it. I have never installed a supercharger before. I am still learning all of this. I have pulled a few engines & what not, but never done much with a mustang. Considering i am the only one who owns one in the family.

changes would be to stuff like the fuel system, etc. Keep in mind the gains would be very low due to the weak flowing heads. The '84 also has cast pistons vs forged. I don't know what you current set up is so I'm tossing stuff around. Really for the cost of a SC kit and supporting mods I would get a roller block motor from an '87-'92, then a nice set of heads, cam, intake and carb set up. IMHO you would come out better in the end. even upgrading your current motor would be a better bet. SC is nice but an SC on a stock motor will not hold its own against a well built HCI motor.
