Ponies on The Run (Again)
Way Cool either far too much torque or not the right tire that could be tighter yet !
Speed Channel had a special on that dude Gushi and his pops. I think he's running a Whipple on that Stang.

Jed go RED...
RED Modular Cameras
Need EXTREME resolution? Then check out the new line of RED Modular Cameras ($2,500 - $55,000; 2009-2010). Designed to let you choose a "brain" ranging from 3K to 28K in resolution and then add modules to create the ideal setup for you, these cameras take both video and stills, with modules for Canon and Nikon lens mounts, 1080p monitoring, inputs/ouputs, remote control, and more. In case you were wondering about that 28K thing above, that's 261 Megapixels in camera-speak, 28000 x 9334, or resolution so intense that it requires caps and italics to properly convey the severity.

Where are us GEEKS going to go? With every fall is a rise in a new company. It may take three years if the economy start to turn around. All kinds of businesses are cutting back and closing slow locations. I'm glad I have a job . I think this is going to be the worst retail year ever. You wouldn't know that by the way us stang freaks spend on mods .

Welp, pretty quiet here today...
Spent the day out with Jed at the NHRA Finals at Pomona. Unusually hot today, which of course led to brush fires out everywhere here in So Cal. The bad one is close to mom & dad's house and while I think we'll be OK ya never know.
Anyway GREAT F'n day today. Had a blast nuthin like Nitro to adjust one's outlook on life. The cars are as loud or louder more powerfull ? than I remember, maybe not as much cackle at 90% but still they took some getting used to. I'll post a couple of teasers below and more in Auto-Focus. Mucho props to Jed for lending me a great lens and going out there today with me. I'm glad he was able to go because I'm pretty sure he had a good time too !!! If you've never been to a NHRA race, you owe it to yourself to get out to one, nothing NOTHING in this world can come close to describing what it's like. That alone makes it worth it.
Even better news... Got my boost and Wideband A/F in the mail today, ordered 'em Thursday morning !!!!!! :woo-hoo: I thought it'd take longer but not bad at all.
Hope everyone had a great day as I had today.

Wow, quiet day here. Everybody must be out fighting fires.
Brian, I'm glad you and Jed had a good time. The launch on that red Mustang is awesome!
I've never understood how they keep straight when they can't see where they are going.
Nice photos!

Great time today at the NHRA event in Pomona. I have a new respect for modern power, Top Fuel funny cars OMG! I have to thank Habu for the ear plugs I think those saved my hearing. Words can't describe the sensation when these cars fly down the track. I highly recommend attending show's like this it brought back memories when I use to go to the drags at Irwindale raceway. My past recollection of the drags was completely humbled by today’s experience. Habu and I had almost complete access pits, staging people and staff real nice, except this one beeatch that freaked out when I tried to shoot her, I shoot her anyway with the 400mm lens haha! Below a few pictures enjoy...

I never saw Leo smile so much! Cool vids, hey Bill I bet you weren't driving at 80 when you passed that CHIP...sheet he'll put the hurt on you
FYI I 86'ed my GTR plans today with all of the freeway closures and ash in the air from all of these fires I'll pass on this years event. Man I'm starting to have a phobia on ash the way Bill has a phobia about rain & water "Blame it on the Rain!"
